A Brother Cycles Mehteh house build in Stealth Black that quietly goes quite hard. Only one like this. Built in house. Ready to ride.

This build brings together the Mehteh’s Reynolds 725 steel frameset, full carbon fork, SRAM Apex Eagle 1x12, DT Swiss GR1600 wheels, Easton finishing kit and Panaracer GravelKing SK tyres. In plain terms, it is built for long gravel days, loaded bikepacking, mixed-surface riding and the kind of New Zealand backroad exploring where a normal road bike starts to feel out of its depth.

Why we like it

This is the kind of build where everything makes sense. The Mehteh gives you the comfort, repairability and loaded-riding feel of a good steel gravel frame, while the carbon fork keeps the front end practical for modern adventure setups with mounts for cages, mudguards and dynamo routing.

The SRAM Apex Eagle 1x12 drivetrain keeps the bike simple and gives it a wide 11-50T cassette for climbing loaded or unloaded. The 40T chainring keeps the top end useful without making the low gear too hard for steep gravel roads, bikepacking weight or long days when your legs are starting to ask questions.

DT Swiss GR1600 wheels are a strong match for this build. They keep the bike feeling sharp under power, but still make sense for rougher gravel, mixed surfaces and carrying gear. The GravelKing SK tyres roll quickly on sealed roads and hardpack, with enough tread to stay useful when the surface gets loose.

Best for

This build suits someone after one bike for gravel loops, rough backroads, weekend bikepacking and longer mixed-surface rides. It makes sense for New Zealand riding, where a route can move from seal to gravel to rougher farm roads without much warning.

It is also a strong option for riders planning bigger trips like Tour Aotearoa, Sounds to Sounds or local bikepacking missions, especially if they want a steel platform with modern standards, wide tyre clearance and sensible parts support.

What makes it different

The Mehteh sits at the more capable end of the gravel category. With clearance for up to 700c x 50 mm or 650b x 2.2" tyres, it gives you more room to tune the bike for speed, comfort, grip or loaded riding.

The frame has three bottle cage mounts, rear rack and mudguard mounts, full-length cable housing guides and a UDH-compatible rear dropout. That gives you a lot of setup flexibility, whether you want a clean gravel bike, a loaded bikepacking rig, or something that can be adjusted over time.

This one is a Bicycle Junction house build, so it is not a standard complete bike pulled from a catalogue. It has been built around parts we would actually choose for this kind of riding.

Good to know

This build is currently set up as a wide-range 1x12. That keeps things simple and works well for gravel and bikepacking, but riders who prefer tighter gear steps or a higher road-speed top end may prefer a 2x build.

Want to tweak it? We can talk through tyre choice, bar shape, gear range, contact points or luggage setup before it leaves the shop. Different tyres, more flare, less flare, more road speed or more loaded-trip focus are all things we can help dial in.

Final word

Choose this Brother Cycles Mehteh house build if you want a capable steel gravel bike that is already built with sensible parts and ready for proper riding. It is quick enough for local gravel loops, tough enough for loaded trips, and flexible enough to become the bike you shape around your next adventure.

Good RV Power Supply Cord
Size: 25-Foot, Style: 90° Locking End
It's an overall good value for the cord. I purchased so I'd have a spare in the rv and because my original is very short, I may need the extra length one day. I plugged it in and it works as intended, it appears to be good construction and quality materials. I've been caught in a situation before where my cord went bad (the inlet on the camper overheated and caused the plug in the melt and burn up, this could happen to anyone) it was after hours, so I couldnt run to a store and get one. Had to suffer through the night with no AC and wait until the next morning to go to an RV superstore and pay double what Amazon charges. If you take your rv out alot I highly recommend keeping a spare cord.

Great product! I do not understand why anyone would make or buy any cord without a 90 degree plug-in for their RV.
Size: 25-Foot, Style: 90° Locking End
We had to replace the plug on our RV: The plug was destroyed by the stiff 50 amp cord that; came with our RV that put a lot of pressure on the plug-in on our RV causing it to arc and melt both the male and female where the cord was plugged into the RV. . The heavy duty 90: degree end has a soft flexible cable and greatly reduces the stress on the RV plug. I expect this cord will last much longer. Would recommend this cord to anyone. I do not understand why anyone would make or buy any cord without a 90 degree plug-in for their RV. Dealers may not have this item in stock.

Good compromise
Size: 25-Foot, Style: 90° Locking End
I decided to go with this much cheaper version of the same yet higher quality cord from camping world. I really like the 90 degree connectors as these cords are heavy and I did not like the added stress on the RV power connector of the straight connectors. Also did not like the way the straight connector sticks out on camping would’s version so if I accidentally bumped into the cord it could easily be broken. The clamp ring on this one has large lugs making it much easier to tighten onto the RV threads. I really struggled with the ones that don’t have the large lugs. The easy to grip handles are also nice to have when removing from power. My one complaint, the cable jacketing is of lesser quality. You can literally feel the individual conductors inside the jacketing when handling. This makes me feel like this cord will not have the sturdiness to last over time and an insulation failure could be a dangerous situation. If I could get the connectors of this cord with the cable quality of the camping world version, I would pay for the quality.

Great generator cord
Size: 25-Foot, Style: 90° Locking End
I’ve had this cord for 5 years for use with my emergency generator, it doesn’t get used often, but when I’ve needed it it’s been flawless.
